Request a Walk
There are three ways to request a walk:
What happens when you request a walk?
The Request
The Manager on Duty will ask you for your pick-up location, drop-off location, and any accommodation requests to make your walk as comfortable and accessible as possible.
The Walking Team
A team of two students will be sent out with a radio to meet you at your pick-up location. They are identifiable by Walkhome ID tags, which will be hidden for the rest of the walk.
Boundaries
 | Walkhome staff love to walk and talk; however, to serve as many students as possible, we have established boundaries. We operate within the following limits: West: Mowat Ave. If you wish to be picked up or dropped off outside our designated boundaries, please call us. Depending on our availability, we may be able to accommodate you. |
Location
The KioskDuring our operating hours, you can find us at our kiosk. If you’re looking to visit us to request a walk or just to say hello, you can find us at the John Deutsch University Centre (JDUC), located at 99 University Avenue. We are situated on the first floor, just under the stairs. The OfficeWhen the kiosk is closed, you can find us in our office, which is located on the first floor, Room 129 of the JDUC.
